Terms of Service

The short version. Business Foundations is educational templates and lessons. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice. You can use it for your own business. You can not copy, resell or share it.

1. What you are buying

The Business Foundations Kit and Course give you access to fill-in tools, state reference sheets, short video lessons, a quest game, a binder and a members area (the Foundations HQ). Access is for one person, for your own business, and is delivered digitally and immediately after you pay or use an access code.

2. Not professional advice

Everything here is general education. Laws, fees and deadlines change and differ by state and situation. We work to keep the state sheets accurate, but you must confirm every figure with the official source and have an attorney, CPA or other licensed professional review anything important before you rely on it. We are not your lawyer, accountant or financial advisor and no professional relationship is created.

3. Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping that email and your devices secure. Accounts are limited to three signed-in devices. Do not share your access or your sign-in links. We may close an account that is shared or misused.

4. License and what you may not do

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own business. You may not copy, republish, resell, sublicense, scrape, record or share the kit, lessons, binder, videos or reference data, in whole or in part, with anyone else. You may use the documents you fill in for your own business and give them to your own professionals.

5. Payments, refunds and chargebacks

Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and are paid once. Refunds are available only within 60 minutes of purchase, as set out in our Refund Policy. By paying you confirm you have read it. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we will provide records of your purchase, your agreement to these terms and your use of the product to your bank.

6. Done-for-you services

Setup, website and marketing services are sold separately under their own written agreement, which controls those services. Amounts paid for the kit or course may be credited toward them as described at the time of purchase.

7. Availability and changes

We may update the content and the site, and we may change or stop features. We aim for the site to be available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.

8. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the product is provided as is, and Emerson North is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, penalties, or decisions you make based on the content. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
